However, it looks like they're making some massive changes to the plot line of the book. For instance, the manitcore is going to be in this movie (played by Daniel Cudmore) and apparently Polyphemus's island is the abandoned amusement park. That once belonged to Circe.
You know what? If we don't strictly compare this movie to the book, it'll probably blow our minds. I'm personally very excited. =]
I have officially decided that it is all by some absolutely insane coincedence that there is a movie being made about demigods...who have the same names as the ones in Percy Jackson. Crazy, huh? Who knows? Maybe it'll actually be good...
