But here's some interesting questions that someone posed about the cover, some things to consider:
- Why do Percy’s eyes look demonic??
- Why are the doors closed??
- What is the white frozen watery/electricity stuff at the bottom??
- Is that a Fury in the upper left corner??
- What the heck are they wearing??

3 i can't think of something without a little clue but maybe Styx or Lethe under the influence of Percy ?
4 there are 3 creatures in the upper left corner. Maybe Furies but there are pleanty more creatues in Tartarus.
5 Maybe somethinh they found in the Underworld.
I told you that RR would show us Percy and Annabeth in the forth book and it's seems tha at least half the book will be about them.
UK cover brings another question. How it the bloke with the helmet. Hades or a Giant ? From the purple of his skin i would bet that is a Giant.

It says in The Demigod Files that the Lethe is black. That white stuff looks more like a mist to me. I don't think Percy's influencing it; it looks like he's being chased by it, but that's just me.
As for the clothes, there's a theory that it's prison attire, because Tartarus is a prison, after all.
I say giant, but someone was dead sure it was Hades. I kind of doubt that, though.
Well, my prediction of the colors were off, but it looks pretty cool. UK version actually doesn't look that bad compared to the last three book covers.
