Not to mention, he's completely finished with HoH, and has started work on book 5, name still unknown. Apparently he has a lot of projects in the works, one of which is his Norse series! The outline is finished, and release date is estimated for 2015. I can't wait!
Read his full blog post here.
I'm not disappointed because he came to my place last year for MOA, others need that chance to meet him. I hope you enjoy SOM film. It is a lot better then Lightning Thief visual effects wise as well as book adaption wise. The story is much closer than the first one was despite a mishaps here and there. They also end it leading us right into Titan's Curse. In other words a cliff hanger for those who didn't read the books.
ReplyDeleteHe will be in my area this time around. I don't think I can get in to see him, though.
DeleteI liked the movie too! I think they were just trying to patch up what was missed in the first movie, in case they make a second one.
You Americans are so lucky. Here in Greece i suspect there is't even the slimest of chances to see him......
ReplyDeleteI am on vacation an the local cinema is closed for the summer ! Can you belive it ????? I hope i somehow manage to see it. I hope i like it .
I'm sorry to hear that =( I thought it was good, but it wasn't extremely close to the book. I think they were just trying to fix the damage from the first movie to be honest.
DeleteI have some slightly bad news. The Sea of Monsters currently is not making any profit. The film took 90 million dollars to make, but the combination of domestic and foreign grosses makes a total of $42,821,000 according to my calculation. We need the gross to go far higher than 90 million in order for their to be a chance to see Titan's Curse on the big screen. I know it was only opening week, but I think we should still try to make an effort to push the numbers up. check out boxofficemojo:
